Have you been trying to be in your feminine essence after years of living mostly in your masculine energy, and finding it extremelly hard to sustain?
Maybe you are trying to live a softer life, hustle less, rest more, but feel very uncomfortable in doing so?
Or trying to save money, make money stay longer in your bank account, lose weight or attract a man who gives you princess treatment, but always self-sabotaging, procrastinating or avoiding the actions that lead you to what you want?
If so, this article is for you. And if so, welcome to the Law of Sustainment.
A lot is talked about the Law of Attraction and in manifesting our desires. But rarely anyone talks about sustaining the manifestation and keeping what you want in your life.
Many people are in fact good at manifesting what they want because they opened up to receive, but cannot seem to hold or sustain what they want for long.
For example, money is a rollercoaster that comes and goes fast and doesn’t stay for long, and a person is always swinging in between periods of abundance and periods of lack.
All this happens because is linked to your identity and how you see yourself. Here’s how:
The Law of Sustainment says:
You cannot consistently hold anything (money, health, love, success) that is out of alignment with your self-image.
When you try to take actions that don’t match how you subconsciously see yourself, you create inner friction — and that’s what shows up as procrastination, self-sabotage, or “why bother.”
Why You Feel the Desire But Keep Losing Momentum
- Your true self already matches your desires — that’s why they keep calling you.
- Your current self-concept (the one built from childhood conditioning, limiting beliefs, and old experiences) is the “gatekeeper.”
- Unless you shift that self-concept, your subconscious will keep pulling you back to your old set point for safety.
Why you have the identity you have today that is driving your actions is topic to another article, but very much has to do with how you were raised, how your parents or caregivers were living, how they said you are and what you can have, and with the limiting beliefs you acquired along the way since childhood.
But today on this article, we are going to focus not on the why but on the how, so you shift your identity quickly in order to reveal your true self.
How to Align Your Identity With Your Desires
This is where people often focus too much on “just doing more” — but if the being isn’t in place, doing feels like pushing a boulder uphill.
Here’s the sustainable route:
1. Decide the New Identity Clearly
Instead of “I want to lose weight” →
“I am a woman who takes exquisite care of her body and feels light and free.”
Instead of “I want to keep money” →
“I am a calm and trusted steward of wealth.”
Instead of “I want to stop procrastinating” →
“I am the kind of woman who follows through with ease.”
2. Embodiment Before Evidence
Your subconscious accepts identity changes when you act like it’s already true — before you have the results.
This means:
- Asking: What would “wealthy me” do today? and doing that
- Asking: What would “healthy me” eat right now? and doing that
- No giant leaps — just micro-actions that prove the identity to yourself daily.
3. Bridge Your Nervous System
Going from one extreme to another (e.g., from spending every euro to holding €50k) often triggers safety alarms.
Make incremental upgrades your nervous system can handle:
- Gradually hold more money without spending
- Gradually eat and move more like the “healthy” you
- Gradually show up more in business without pressure
4. Rewire With Repetition
Your subconscious changes through repetition + emotional charge.
Ways to do this:
- Subliminal audios (absolutely useful if well-written and you listen daily)
- Affirmations said with emotion and imagery
- Journaling as your future self (write as if you already are her)
- Visualisation before bed (when your mind is most suggestible)
5. Make Self-Sabotage Harder
Change your environment to support the new identity:
- Automatic transfers to savings
- No high-sugar snacks at home
- Clear calendar time for what matters before distractions appear
6. Identity-Based Habits
James Clear explains this well in Atomic Habits:
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”
Your job is not to be perfect, but to stack enough “votes” for the new identity until it becomes natural.
💡 Here’s a flow that works:
- Pick one desire to focus on first (money OR weight OR business — don’t try to do all at once).
- Define the self-image that already has it.
- Ask “what’s one small thing she would do today?”
- Do it consistently, with self-reinforcement, not self-punishment.
- Use subliminals, affirmations, and visualisation to lock it in.
Feminine Identity Recode Plan so you start being the woman who sustains wealth, health, and success without self-sabotage.
We’re keeping it short (10–15 minutes a day) but potent, so it reprograms your self-concept and regulates your nervous system.
Feminine Identity Recode Plan
(10–15 minutes daily)
Step 1 — Define Your Identity Anchor (2 min)
Pick one main desire for now (money, weight, business).
Write your new self-image in one powerful sentence:
“I am a calm, capable steward of wealth.” OR “I am a woman who takes exquisite care of her body and feels light and free.”
Keep this somewhere visible — on your mirror, phone background, or journal cover.
Step 2 — Embodiment Micro-Action (3 min)
Each day, ask:
“What is one small thing this version of me would do today?”
Examples:
- Wealth identity: Check bank account calmly, move €10 to savings, organise receipts.
- Health identity: Drink a big glass of water first thing, take a short walk, eat a nourishing breakfast.
- Business identity: Post one valuable thing online, send one follow-up email.
Small wins matter because they prove the identity to yourself.
Step 3 — Nervous System Regulation (2 min)
Money, weight loss, romantic relationships or success often trigger old fears.
Regulate before taking action:
- Breathing: Inhale for 4, hold 4, exhale for 6 (repeat 3x)
- While breathing, affirm:“It’s safe to be her. It’s safe to hold this.”

Step 4 — Subconscious Rewiring (3–5 min)
Choose one or combine:
- Subliminal audio — listen with eyes closed, imagining you’re already living it.

- Affirmations — say your identity anchor + 2–3 supporting statements out loud.

- Future-self journaling — write as if you are her now (“Today I woke up feeling light and free…”).

Step 5 — Close With Gratitude Expansion (1 min)
Gratitude locks in the frequency:
“Thank you for the woman I am becoming. I’m so grateful for the ease and joy in sustaining my desires.”
Smile and feel it in your body.
Surround yourself with people and situations that reflect your new identity
If you’re serious about embodying this new version of yourself, surround yourself with people, places, and situations that reflect and reinforce it.
- Want to eat healthy and get fit? Step away from people who mistreat their bodies, and immerse yourself in communities, content, and environments that inspire healthy choices.
- Want a loving partner who adores and cherishes you? Stop entertaining men that fall short of your standards, and make space for the one who will meet them.
- Building your own business? Seek guidance from successful entrepreneurs, not from those who’ve never built what you aspire to create.
You become what you surround yourself with — so choose to surround yourself with who you want to be, not who you’re trying to leave behind. Do this unapologetically.
And finally, when you see people on social media living the life you dream of, don’t feel triggered — feel inspired.
Take it as proof that you’re on the right path, and that your vision is possible for you too.
Weekly Integration
- Every Sunday, review your identity anchor and ask: Does this still feel aligned? Do I need to refine it?
- Track your wins — even tiny ones — so your subconscious sees evidence it’s working.
- When you slip (because we all do), don’t shame yourself — simply say, “That’s the old me. I’m back in alignment now.”
Take Your Time
Reprogramming your subconscious takes time — especially after years of seeing yourself a certain way.
It’s a gradual process, built in steps and layers, until you finally uncover your truest self — the version of you that’s always been there but has been hidden.
Give yourself time. Honor your body, honor your needs, and don’t rush.
And if you don’t see instant results, don’t panic. Any lasting change starts from within. First, you shift your internal energy, and after a while does your external reality begin to catch up.
So instead of obsessing over outward results, focus on how you feel. When you’re aligned with your true identity, it feels right. It feels good.
