I started feeling the strain, and that’s when I began getting regular massages. My massage therapist had this routine—at the end of every session, she would turn on her Reiki.
I had no idea what Reiki even was, but I felt something shift within me each time. That subtle, almost imperceptible change sparked my curiosity. I remember asking myself, “What is this Reiki thing, and why does it feel so good?”
So, I did some research and learned that Reiki was more than just a relaxation technique—it was an energy healing practice that could help deepen the connection to spirit and intuition.
That discovery planted a seed in me that would eventually grow into something extraordinary. But here’s the truth: It didn’t happen overnight.
I started attending Reiki circles hosted by my Reiki teacher, and this was where the real work began. Each circle would involve sharing experiences—what people saw, heard, felt, or sensed during the energy work. But me? I was sitting there in total darkness.
I mean, I literally saw nothing. It was always black. There was no guidance, no images, no sounds—just silence. It felt like everyone else was having these profound spiritual experiences, while I was just… there.
Thirty minutes felt like three hours, and the jealousy would creep in. I couldn’t help but wonder why I wasn’t experiencing what everyone else was. But for some reason, despite the frustration, something kept me coming back.
There was this inner knowing, this feeling that I needed to keep showing up, even if I didn’t understand why.
Then, in 2011, everything changed.
It started with a bold decision. I quit my job. The company was offering a buy-out, and though it was a scary move, I took it.
I was ready for something new, even if I didn’t know exactly what that “new” was. Not long after, a friend asked if I could drive her car to Arizona, and I jumped at the opportunity.
A week-long solo road trip across the country? It felt like an adventure calling my name.
As I set out on the open road, I was hit with a wave of fear. Driving alone for such a long distance made me nervous, and doubts began to flood my mind. How was I going to do this by myself? What if something went wrong?
The fears were real, but then, in that moment of uncertainty, something incredible happened. I said a simple prayer: “God, please allow me to arrive home safely.”
And then, as clear as day, I heard a voice say, “If you drive there safely, you’ll get home safely.”
I was stunned. There was no one else in the car with me, yet the message was unmistakable. For the first time in my life, I experienced my intuition speaking to me.
After years of silence in those Reiki circles, something finally shifted. It was as if a door had been unlocked, and my connection to spirit began to flow in a way it never had before.
That moment marked the beginning of an awakening that would transform my life in more ways than I could have imagined.
Since that day on the road, everything has changed. I’ve built a successful Psychic Medium business, and I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of people connect with their own intuition and spiritual guidance.
